5 Pieces to Invest in This Season

Despite my hate for the cold, if I’m gonna do winter, I’m gonna do it in style! I picked out 5 pieces that are in this season that are so worth the money. Keep reading to see the items and how I style them!

Faux fur coats– These are SO in this season and there are so many ways to style them, whether you’re going for brunch, or a night on the town. Though they are a bit pricey, they are most definitely worth it, as they work as not only a cute add-on to your outfit, but also keep you warm on those chilly days. I styled mine with an all black outfit to put emphasis on the coat and make it the main piece of my look. My jacket is from Lulus!

Oversized white sweaters– AKA one of the most versatile pieces you can have in your closet. It can easily be dressed up if worn with a skirt, or dressed down with some leggings for a cozy night in. I styled my sweater with some jeans and sneakers for a more laid-back look. Mine is from American Apparel.

Envelope Skorts– Perfect for a night on the town! These bottoms are so flattering and it’s probably the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn. For once you don’t have to worry about having a Marilyn Monroe moment on your night out! Wear yours with a cute turtleneck sweater and over the knee boots to keep warm. My skort is from Amazing Lace.

Simple Watches– Rumor has it that simple accessories are making a huge comeback! A simple, everyday watch is a must-have this season. Pair with any outfit to tie the look together. I used my turquoise Kate Spade one as a pop of color, pairing it with a white top.

Trendy Jeans– If you’re feeling trendy, you can’t go wrong with these. Websites like Romwe and Shein have tons of different pairs of jeans that will look so cute this season. You can go crazy, or just settle for a stylish pair of mom-jeans. I went for a more subtle look, pairing my high-waisted jeans with a simple white sweater. This pair is from Romwe!
